Job Title: Full‑Time 4th Grade Teacher
Location: St. Frances Cabrini Academy – St. Louis, MO

 

Position Summary

St. Frances Cabrini Academy is seeking a dedicated and mission‑driven Full‑Time 4th Grade Teacher to join our school community. This role is responsible for providing high‑quality instruction, fostering a supportive and faith‑centered classroom environment, and guiding students in their academic, social, and spiritual development. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong instructional skills, a passion for teaching elementary learners, and a commitment to the mission of Catholic education.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with school and Archdiocesan curriculum standards.
  • Create a structured, welcoming, and respectful classroom environment that promotes learning and student growth.
  • Integrate Catholic values and faith formation into daily instruction and classroom culture.
  • Assess student progress using a variety of tools and provide timely, constructive feedback.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Communicate regularly and professionally with parents, colleagues, and administrators.
  • Maintain accurate records, including lesson plans, grades, and student documentation.
  • Supervise students during transitions, recess, lunch, and other assigned duties.
  • Collaborate with faculty on curriculum planning, school initiatives, and community‑building activities.
  • Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and schoolwide events.
  • Model Catholic values and contribute positively to the spiritual life of the school community.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Valid Missouri teaching certification or eligibility for certification.
  • Experience teaching elementary students or working in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom‑management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create engaging lessons that support academic and faith development.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
  • Must meet Archdiocesan compliance requirements, including Safe Environment training.
