The CDS is proficient in CIED programming and monitoring. The CDS is proficient in CIED programming and monitoring. Will be responsible for managing patients diagnostics in manufacturer remote monitoring websites, analysis and management of transmission, entering data into Paceart and Epic, maintaining the integrity with the system and having the judgement to direct to EP physicians when appropriate. Must meet or exceed quality, safety and value measurements under the direction of the physicians, advanced practitioners and registered nurses. Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science preferred but not required. RN, LVN, CMA, paramedic and/or device industry background will be considered.

  • Licensure: None.

  • Experience: EKG knowledge required with understanding of cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias preferred. Proficient in CIED remote and programming or ability to demonstrate proficiency within six months of hire. Knowledge of medical terminology specific to electrophysiology preferred.

  • Certification/Registration: CCDS through HRS within 24 months of hire preferred.

  • Other skills & knowledge: Excellent clinical communication skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
