What you’ll need to succeed as a Manager, Customer Service at XPO

Minimum qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in customer service
  • 2 years of experience in a warehousing or distribution center environment
  • Knowledge of warehouse and transportation operations
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Available to travel up to 75% of the time to various sites in the area
  • 2 years of supervisory/managerial experience
  • Experience with EDI and TMW software
  • Knowledge of transportation operations and driver management
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Monitor execution of all process steps and taking necessary corrective actions 
  • Communicate with primary customers to obtain feedback and grow the business 
  • Review financial reports for root causes of variances and resolution 
  • Train and Coach Staff 
  • Ensure processes, procedures, documentation and training is in place for new business
  • Participate in various continuous improvement activities beyond their team
