What you’ll need to succeed as a Manager, Customer Service at XPO
Minimum qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in customer service
- 2 years of experience in a warehousing or distribution center environment
- Knowledge of warehouse and transportation operations
- Experience with Microsoft Office
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Available to travel up to 75% of the time to various sites in the area
- 2 years of supervisory/managerial experience
- Experience with EDI and TMW software
- Knowledge of transportation operations and driver management
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Monitor execution of all process steps and taking necessary corrective actionsÂ
- Communicate with primary customers to obtain feedback and grow the businessÂ
- Review financial reports for root causes of variances and resolutionÂ
- Train and Coach StaffÂ
- Ensure processes, procedures, documentation and training is in place for new business
- Participate in various continuous improvement activities beyond their team
