OverviewWorks in conjunction with the Clinical Supervisor for that service. Performs the primary function of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of their patients. Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments. Organizes and implements service in the assigned specialty area. Coordinates workflow in a timely efficient manner, including room set-up and turn-over, supplies and equipment needed prior to case start. Functions in a staff role as needed, including relief for breaks and lunches. Assists in department operational support tasks and duties. Assisting in orientation of new coworkers and permanent team members in conjunction with the Supervisor and the OR Nurse Clinician.

Overview:
Mercy Center for Performance Medicine out-patient surgery offers state of the art care to patients in need of surgical care. The center consists of 10 operating rooms, 2 minor procedure rooms and 1 cysto suite, making it one of the largest surgery centers in the United States. Equipped with the latest and greatest technology.
Surgery specialties include orthopedics, urology, plastics, neuro and general surgery.Â
Along with the operating room, the surgery center includes its own pre/post area, PACU, 23-hour stay area, SPD and supply chain.Â
Caregivers at CPM have the luxury of no weekends, no holidays and no call.Â
Qualifications:
Experience: 1 year of RN Operating Room experienceÂ
Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
Preferred Education: BSN
License: current RN license in our state
Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
