You will be part of a collaborative team environment where mentorship, development, and meaningful project experience are part of the day to day. You will have the opportunity to support and guide junior team members and work closely with Project Managers to deliver impactful transportation projects.
What You Will Be Doing
- Design and deliver transportation projects including roadways, intersections, interchanges, and pedestrian infrastructure
- Provide technical expertise and mentorship by responding to questions and supporting the development of junior engineersÂ
- Participate in quality reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with established QA and QC processes
- Take ownership of engineering tasks and project components while ensuring alignment with project goals and standards
- Identify and help resolve technical related challenges through effective communication
- Respond to contractor questions and support construction phase activities including addenda and project updates
- Contribute to proposal development, including scope, schedule, and cost estimates when applicable
- Interact directly with Clients with written, verbal, and in person communication

What You Bring
- Bachelors in civil engineering
- Professional Engineer license in Missouri or ability to obtain within six months (MUST HAVE)
- At least four years of experience in civil or transportation engineering design
- Experience with roadways, intersection, interchange, or pedestrian infrastructure design is preferred
- Experience with tools such as Open Roads Designer, MicroStation, or Civil 3D
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong technical communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply engineering principles to a variety of challenges
- Valid driver’s license in your state of residence
