Job Summary:

As a PSR, you will work alongside a collaborative care team, build strong therapeutic relationships, and help clients develop skills that promote healthy living and personal growth. In this position, you will provide day‑to‑day psychosocial rehabilitation services in accordance with state regulations. You will facilitate structured activities and groups, support treatment plan implementation, serve as an advocate for clients, connect individuals to community resources, and help maintain a safe and supportive program environment.

Key Responsibilities:
· Provide day‑to‑day psychosocial rehabilitation services to adults with severe and persistent mental illness
· Facilitate PSR education sessions, structured groups, outings, and activities under the supervision of clinical leadership
· Support client treatment plans by serving as an advocate and assisting with skill development and goal progression
· Assist with client orientation, education, referrals, documentation, and participation in team planning
· Monitor program environments to ensure safety, sanitation, and adherence to program expectations and curfews
· Encourage appropriate behaviors and serve as a positive role model for clients
· Maintain regular communication with the care team to report behaviors and participate in coordinated care planning
· Operate agency vehicles to provide client transportation and support program operations
· Attend scheduled staff meetings and actively participate in program activities
· Demonstrate commitment to the organization’s long‑term and short‑term goals
· Complete additional duties as assigned by clinical or program leadership
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Minimum of two (2) years of responsible employment history
· Knowledge of case management and psychosocial rehabilitation principles preferred
· Experience working with individuals with mental illness in a community‑based setting preferred
Additional Qualifications:
· Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of residency with an acceptable driving record
· Must have current auto insurance
· Must be at least 21 years of age to operate a company‑owned vehicle
· Must be at least 23 years of age to operate a company‑owned 15‑passenger van
· Must attain required Behavioral Management training within 30 days of employment or first available class
· Must complete “Direct Service Expectations,” Growth and Development, and Privileging and Credentialing requirements within required timeframes
· Ability to communicate effectively and complete clear, concise documentation
· Ability to develop, coordinate, and evaluate services based on assigned responsibilities
Physical Requirements
· Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
· Ability to perform repetitive hand, finger, and arm movements for typing and writing
· Ability to sit for extended periods with occasional walking or standing
· Ability to move objects or materials as needed within a sedentary work environment
