We're partnering with a Missouri school district seeking a Special Education Teacher for an immediate start. This is a priority opening, and the district is prepared to move quickly with qualified candidates.
In this role, you will support elementary students in both resource and inclusive classroom settings, providing individualized instruction and implementing strategies that promote academic and behavioral growth. You will work collaboratively with general education teachers, families, and support staff to ensure students receive consistent and effective services.
Job Duties:
- Monitor and document student progress.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide small-group and one-on-one instruction based on student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
Requirements
- Previous school-based experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Active Missouri teaching license with Special Education endorsement, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
