Job Summary: 

Trileaf is seeking a full-time Sr Project Scientist with 5 -15 years of experience conducting environmental and real estate due diligence (Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Property Condition Assessments).

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Phase I ESA and PCA responsibilities include conducting site visits of properties across the US, and completing Phase I ESA and PCA reports in accordance with the applicable ASTM standards and client-specific scopes of work
  • The successful candidate can expect to complete 4-6 reports (or similar) per month
  • Client facing duties such as accepting and vetting new project orders
  • Provide weekly updates and trackers to clients
  • QA/QC and delivery of reports to clients
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

To be considered, the resume of the applicant must demonstrate the following qualifications/skills:

  • 5 -15 years experience with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I ESA’s) consistent with ATSM E1527. HUD, Fannie, and Freddie experience a plus.
  • Property Condition Assessments (PCA’s) consistent with ASTM E2018. HUD, Fannie, and Freddie experience a plus.
  • Attention to detail
  • Valid drivers license
  • Ability and willingness to travel ~25% (travel not expected to exceed 2-3 days at a time)
  • Good computer skills

  Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Geology, Construction Management, Engineering, or similar
