Superintendent- Restaurant New Construction

Skillforce has teamed up with an industry leading general contractor to find a skilled Superintendent- Restaurant New Construction. 

This is for a 4 month project in St Louis, MO, starting ASAP. Up to $5k bonus upon project completion. This GC is also open to full time hire upon project completion if it is a good mutual fit.

Superintendent Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $38-$42/hr

• Bonus potential tied to project performance

• If traveling:

  • Per Diem: $35 daily (with receipts)

  • Company vehicle with fuel card for business travel

  • Lodging arranged through internal booking

• Background check, drug screen, and MVR required

Superintendent Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily field operations, subcontractors, and crews on commercial construction sites.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and project specifications.

• Monitor project progress, schedules, and budgets to meet deadlines.

• Conduct site inspections to maintain quality control and resolve issues proactively.

• Coordinate with Project Managers, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow.

• Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and site documentation.

• Provide leadership, direction, and support to field staff.

• Demonstrate flexibility to return home as project phases allow.

Superintendent Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial construction field supervision experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety regulations.

• Proven ability to lead and manage crews effectively.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR required.
