Tissue Transplant Coordinator-Clinical Nurse

• Coordinate planning and maintaining all quality management aspects of tissue documentation in Epic for the OR
• Responsible for improving key processes, policies, and procedures as they relate to regulatory compliance
• Complete audits of clinical and program workflow processes including documentation to ensure regulatory requirements are met
• Develop and maintain professional affilications to keep abreast of the regulatory requirements for tissue in outpatient and inpatient hospital settings
• BSN is a minimum requirment and 5 years RN experience (OR experience preferred)

Role Purpose

Responsible and accountable for coordinating, planning and maintaining all quality management aspects of the transplant program. Also responsible for improving key processes, policies and procedures as they relate to regulatory compliance with all applicable agencies. The position will complete audits of clinical and program workflow processes as well as documentation of processes to ensure all regulatory requirements are met. Expected to develop and maintain professional affiliations to keep abreast of the regulatory requirements for transplants in both the outpatient and inpatient hospital settings.
