More about our team::聽Kindred Hospital St Louis South is a 38 bed Long Term Acute Care Hospital acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced a loss of function due to an injury or illness. We offer intensive, patient-focused, specialized rehabilitation services. Our Unit is a very fast-paced yet fun environment with endless opportunities to learn and grow

What we鈥檙e looking for:聽We are looking for a dynamic Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) who is passionate about helping others and is a team player!

What you will do in this role:

路 Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs

路 Assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records

路 Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements

路 Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition

路 Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the standards of the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards and applicable state/federal laws

路 Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

路 Associate鈥檚 degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program

路 Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in the state where services are rendered

路 Current CPR certification

路 Strong organizational and communication skills
