Primary Responsibilities 

 

  • Analyze and transform requirements into manual and automated test processes.
  • Work with development teams to implement, optimize, and re-use test automation functions with IFS Cloud ERP.
  • Conduct and document manual testing of IFS Cloud ERP.
  • Write, revise, and verify quality standards and test procedures to attain quality software.
  • Develop processes and procedures to test product requirements and use cases.
  • Research market tools and/or develop the tools required for automated testing.
  • Coach and mentor developers on testing methodology and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Business and Technology partners to establish and maintain a consistent test methodology and resolve escalated issues during the testing process.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field, along with 3-5 years of experience is required.
  • Expertise and applied knowledge of Quality Assurance and Testing best practices.
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Entry level programming skills.
  • Able to work independently and be a self-starter.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Two years of working experience with Typescript or Javascript automation, including the use of Playwright frameworkAPI and DB testing
  • Experience testing REST APIs, SQL queries, and handling test data setups
  • Knowledge of ERP retail processes (selling, renting, servicing, etc.) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with IFS Cloud ERP, TestRail, and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.

 

This is a mostly remote role, however, a reasonable driving commute (1-2 hours) of the New Bremen, OH office is necessary.
