What you'll do

  • Teach the equivalent of a full six-course load in the field of Computer Science, likely including some combination of the following: Programming Languages, Operating Systems, Computer Architecture, High-Performance Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining and Machine Learning, Database Systems, Data Structures, and introductory-level programming for majors and non-majors
  • Fulfill regular faculty responsibilities, including involvement in departmental activities

  • Strong teaching skills
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and work as part of a team

Experience

  • College teaching experience preferred

Education

  • Master's in Computer Science or related field required; PhD preferred

Compensation

  • Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications, education, and experience. Typical salary for Assistant Professor $55,599 - $70,043, Associate Professor $62,927 - $84,168, Full Professor $77,265 - $95,904 for 24 Load Credits a year.
