Pathologist | Regions Hospital; St. Paul, MN 

Our HealthPartners Pathology Group rarely has openings; we are a highly sought out integrated health system practice in the Twin Cities area seeking to hire a full time AP/CP board certified Pathologist to join our team. This position has the opportunity to practice at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN. This position qualifies for an H-1B, but it does not qualify for a J-1 Waiver.

We are a practice with 10 pathologists (who work within a larger group consisting of 30 total pathologists across three main sites) recruiting a full-time position. Ideal candidates will have proven leadership skills, good communication, and demonstrate strong general surgical pathology sign-out capability. Our group performs general surgical pathology sign-out with separate onsite hematopathology, dermatopathology, and cytology services. Position highlights include one primary practice location with private office, no weekend sign-out, no autopsies, full laboratory and pathology assistant support, 5-6 weeks of call per year, and colleagues with subspecialty fellowship training and/or interest allowing for consultations within the group.  Applicants must have an active MN license as well as ability to obtain WI licensure. Fellowship training in GI Liver Pathology, GU Pathology,  Surgical Pathology, and/or Cytopathology is highly preferred.   If you are seeking a collegial, multi-disciplinary practice within an integrated medical group, you are encouraged to apply.

NEIGHBORHOOD:
Regions Hospital is a large level I trauma hospital located on the east side of the twin cities, admitting and managing about 4800 patients per year.  We are a major site of training for general surgery residents, critical care and burn fellows.
