Full-Time Hygienist

Join our team in Maplewood as a full-time Hygienist! Our Hygienists serve as integral members of the clinical team in providing high quality and caring dentistry as well as an exceptional patient experience.

• $3.00 per hour differential for working PM shift at the Maplewood clinic

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care with a focus on the health needs of the patients
• Perform preliminary and existing charting of the oral cavity and surrounding structures 
• Perform initial and periodic examinations and assessments
• Formulate a dental hygiene treatment plan in coordination with a dentist’s treatment plan
• Complete debridement, prophylaxis, and nonsurgical periodontal therapy; place subgingival medicaments.
• Provide nutritional counseling
• Administer nitrous oxide inhalation analgesia and monitor patient
• Apply topical medications including fluoride varnishes and desensitizing agents

 
Qualifications

• Dental Hygienist license 
• CPR/AED certification 
• Experience working with culturally diverse communities preferred
• Proficiency in a second language preferred
   

Maplewood Clinic AM/PM Shift:
Monday-Thursday 7:20am or 2:20pm-9:30pm
Friday 7:20am – 12pm or 12:50pm-5:30pm
