We're currently hiring for Full Time Utility Locator Technicians in the Saint Paul, MN area (including Maplewood, Oakdale and Little Canada areas) and are looking for EXPERIENCED Technicians!
$5k Sign On Bonus for Experienced Locators, and a $3k Referral Bonus for Experienced Locators!
All of our field technicians are provided with:

Responsibilities:
Line locators will work under the direction of their company supervisor, performing work that involves visual inspection of predefined construction areas and reading and interpretation of utility maps to determine the presence of underground utilities, while using special electronic equipment to locate and protect the utility from being damaged. Some of these utilities include gas, electric, water, cable, sewer and more.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license (Must be able to present a physical Driver's License card, other documentation is not accepted)
- Upon employment, subject to random drug testing in compliance with DOT guidelines
- Must be able to work overtime when duties cannot be performed within a normal work schedule
- Previous underground Utility Locating experience for Gas and/or Electric
Working Conditions and Hours:
- Outdoor work environment
- Driving company vehicle to and from work sites
- Normal working hours are 7:30am-5pm, Monday through Friday; weekend work required when needed
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Successfully complete the company’s training program and pass applicable written and field tests
- Develop a general knowledge of state and local damage prevention regulations
- Learn and apply safety measure relating to motor vehicle operation and other field related matters
