JOB SUMMARY:

The Oracle Integration Cloud Supervisor will lead the design, development, maintenance, and optimization of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) solutions in a large-scale enterprise environment (5,000+ employees). This hands-on leadership role will focus on ensuring seamless, reliable data synchronization between Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (ERP, SCM, Projects, Financials) and Salesforce, while mentoring a small team of developers and collaborating closely with analysts. The ideal candidate will take ownership of day-to-day integration troubleshooting and ongoing rewrites. This position is a high-impact role in a growing Oracle Fusion platform, emphasizing best practices for scalability, performance, and security in cloud integrations.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: 

  • Lead OIC Integration Development & Maintenance Oversee the full lifecycle of ~50+ OIC integrations, including design, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring of orchestration flows, scheduled integrations, adapters (REST/SOAP, Salesforce, Fusion), and file-based processes. 
  • Troubleshoot & Resolve Issues Serve as the primary escalation point for integration-related incidents; perform root-cause analysis, debugging using OIC diagnostic logs/activity streams, and rapid resolution to maintain >99% uptime for critical Salesforce-Fusion data syncs. 
  • Technical Leadership & Mentorship Provide guidance and hands-on support to two Oracle developers skilled in OIC, Python, PL/SQL, BIP reports, and data models; conduct code/design reviews, enforce best practices, and foster knowledge sharing. 
  • Enhance & Optimize Integrations Drive ongoing rewrites and modernization of existing flows; implement performance tuning, error handling, retry mechanisms, and reusable patterns to support business growth and quarterly Fusion patches. 
  • Develop Supporting Artifacts Build and maintain Oracle BIP reports, custom data models, PL/SQL scripts, and Python automation for integration monitoring, data transformation, and validation. 
  • Collaboration & Governance Work with functional analysts, business stakeholders, and external teams (e.g., Salesforce admins) to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and ensure compliance with security, data governance, and regulatory standards. 
  • Monitoring & Reporting Set up proactive monitoring, alerts, and dashboards in OIC/OCI; track key metrics (e.g., success rates, latency, error volumes) and recommend improvements. 
  • Innovation & Futureproofing Stay current with Oracle's 2025–2026 OIC enhancements (e.g., AI-assisted flows, event-driven capabilities) and explore opportunities to incorporate low-code automation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead small to medium sized projects and manage communication to leadership on project status.
  • Ability to write test scripts
  • Experience with validating business requirements and gaining stakeholder alignment.
  • Highly organized and focused on achieving goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

The qualifications listed below are representative of the elements required to perform the job successfully, however in some cases, an equivalent combination of Education, Training, Certifications and Experience may meet the job qualifications. 

Education, Training, Certifications: 

  • High school Diploma, or equivalent, required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s, preferred. 
  • Oracle certifications: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2025 Application Integration Professional (1Z0-1042-25) or similar OIC/OCI credentials, a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce connectors/adapters in OIC, preferred.
  • Knowledge of emerging Oracle AI features in OIC/Fusion (e.g., predictive monitoring), preferred.

Experience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience leading Agile ceremonies and managing backlog, required.
  • Familiarity with integration best practices: event-driven architectures, API security (OAuth), performance optimization, and CI/CD for OIC. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating in a fast-paced, large-organization setting.

Communication Skills:

  • Must have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English with employees and customers. 

Systems and Software Skills:

  • 7+ years in integration development, with 5+ years hands-on with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) in enterprise environments, required. 
  • Proven track record integrating Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (ERP, Financials, SCM, etc.) with Salesforce (or similar CRM/ERP systems).
  • Expert in OIC components: adapters, connections, orchestrations, scheduled integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML transformations, fault handling, required.
  • Strong proficiency in Python scripting, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) reports, and custom data models. 
  • Solid understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for resource setup, scaling, and monitoring, required. 

Other Qualifications: 

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required. 
  • Must be able to comply with SFPH’s Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit for long periods. Employee will occasionally be required to bend, kneel, balance, lift <20lb, walk, stand, ascend/descend stairs, drive, twist, and reach above and below shoulders. 

Work Environment:

Employee will consistently be required to work indoors in an office setting, work alone and with others.  Office settings are mild to moderate temperatures.
