SUMMARYÂ
BLUvera, Mortenson’s vertically integrated manufacturing and fabrication affiliate, is currently seeking a Quality Manager to oversee and enhance our quality systems for medium to large projects. This role involves leading and managing quality initiatives, documenting processes, monitoring performance, and analyzing results. The Quality Manager will also be responsible for implementing corrective and preventative actions to ensure continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Mortenson’s quality system on medium to large projectsÂ
Develop and implement Quality Management Plan from start to finishÂ
Establish and lead quality control initiatives and corrective actionsÂ
Review project plans for quality requirements before constructionÂ
Manage Quality Events, punch list, and Non-Conformance NoticesÂ
Oversee third party design and testing agenciesÂ
Coach and mentor Field and Project EngineersÂ
Train others on Kaizen event roles and visual managementÂ
Build relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent fieldÂ
Minimum three years' experience in the design, engineering, or construction industry with experience leading a project’s quality systemÂ
Strong attention to detail to organize and manage multiple project tasksÂ
Basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practicesÂ
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Primavera UnifierÂ
Proven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skillsÂ
Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policiesÂ
Knowledge of one or more quality systems: i.e., Malcolm Baldridge, ISO 9000, Lean, Kaizen, Army Corps of Engineers, Mortenson’s Quality System, continuous improvement, value streams, etcÂ
Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedbackÂ
Ability to travel up to 30%Â

The base pay range for this role is $100,100 - $150,200. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
