Pro Rehab, an established Rehab company with over 35 years of successful business is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist Float. We are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist Float to join the team and float in our South Metro area. You will be floating between Richfield, Hopkins, Eden Prairie, Burnsville, Hastings, Minnetonka, Apple Valley, and occasionally Belle Plaine! Position Type: Part-Time. This position has an opportunity to expand into Full-Time!

Wage Range: $40 - $50 / hour depending on experience


Location: South Metro Area

Speech Language Pathologist Float Responsibilities:

  • Assess & Diagnose Communication Disorders: Evaluate patient needs and deficits such as but not limited to: patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties.
  • Develop & Implement Treatment Plans: Create personalized therapy programs to improve the functional deficits of the patient.
  • Provide Speech & Language Therapy: Conduct exercises and interventions to improve communication and speech abilities.
  • Educate & Support Patients & Families: Teach strategies for effective communication and techniques to improve daily life.
  • Monitor Progress & Adjust Treatment: Track patient improvements, document progress, and modify therapy plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work with doctors, nurses, and therapists to ensure comprehensive support for patients.
Speech Language Pathologist Float Qualifications:
  • Must be a graduate from an Accredited Speech Therapy Program and have a bachelor’s degree.
  • Must possess a current accredited MN Speech Therapist License.
  • Homecare Homebase EMR experience helpful but will train
  • Experience with OASIS preferred or willing to be trained
  • Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to Home Health care.
  • Develop care plans and discharge planning strategies for optimal patient recovery.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and personalized treatment plans.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills to educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and home care practices.
  • Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
