Utility Driver

Harvey Vogel Manufacturing Co, a leader in metal stampings, has an immediate opening for a Utility Forklift Driver at our Woodbury location. We are a privately/family-owned company with more than 200 employees and have been in business for more than 75 years. We offer competitive salary and benefits packages. We have 1st shift hours available (6:30am - 3pm).

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a warehouse setting.

*Duties*

- Safely operate a forklift to transport materials within the warehouse

- Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves

- Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment

- Maintain accurate inventory records by documenting all material movements

- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

*Skills*

- Experience in shipping, receiving, and materials handling

- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts such as cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and order pickers

- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic equipment maintenance.

- Familiarity with warehouse operations, OSHA regulations, and ERP/MRP systems.

- Strong mathematical skills for inventory management.

- Resourceful, proactive, and focused on process improvement.
