YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Packaging, filling, labeling, and storage of drummed chemicals or chemical blends.
Handling and storage of factory packaged products in bags, drums, pails, super sacks, etc.
Loading or unloading of bulk, drummed, or bagged material.
Operates a forklift.
Minor maintenance on trucks or plant equipment.
Secure dual sign off before transferring any product form one vessel to another.
Properly use materials such as labels, placards, stenciling and paint.
Properly cares for and uses all equipment such as forklifts, drum handling equipment, pumps, hoses, etc.
Participate in inventory requirements, counting reconciliation, and recounts as required.
Keep work areas clean and orderly which includes but is not limited to picking up trash, sweeping, mopping, painting, emptying trash, etc.
Follow all operating procedures, work instructions and is familiar with the quality system manual.
Reports all non-conformances as they occur using proper forms.
Attends and actively participates in all safety and quality meetings as required.
Performs all duties in a safe manner and follow all rules and regulations.
Completes all training as required in the Regulatory/Compliance Training Program.
Perform and complete other tasks as assigned by manager.
YOUR PROFILE
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED
Forklift operation experience
A minimum of one year of prior warehouse experience
This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday
This role routinely uses standard forklift and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers, etc.
Ability to operate a forklift
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear
Will be required to frequently stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Will be required to occasionally sit and climb or balance
Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
