The Nutrition Services team at South Washington County Schools is seeking workers to assist in preparing and serving breakfast and lunch in school cafeterias located in Woodbury, St Paul Park, Newport, and Cottage Grove.
This position offers a starting pay of $21.25 per hour and requires candidates to be at least 18 years old with experience in food preparation preferred.
Shifts are available from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, on school contract days, with no evening, holiday, or weekend work required.
Responsibilities include food preparation, meal serving, cleaning, and cashiering to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely meal delivery.

Pay and Benefits:

Job Summary: Shifts are 4 to 5.75 hours, midday Monday through Friday on school contract days.
The school cafeteria employee performs a variety of support responsibilities for food service operations, including:

Food preparation & meal serving.
Cleaning.
Cashiering.

The work contributes to the safe, efficient operation of the kitchen site and also to the safe, timely availability and delivery of meals and services. Link to full job description

Qualifications:

At least 18 years old.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Experience in food preparation within the food service industry is desirable.

Current shifts available:

District Float - 10:00 am - 2:30 pm.
