Requirements

What You Will Do (Essential Functions)

Transaction Processing: Checking and savings deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and bonds.
Customer Relations: Build and maintain customer relationships through professional, positive, and attentive face-to-face interactions.
Cash Management: Maintain a balanced cash drawer in strict compliance with teller manual guidelines.
Business Development: Identify customer needs to refer to internal specialists for advanced banking products and services.
Systems Utilization: Execute batch transactions quickly and accurately using our Branch Capture System and Teller Insight platform.
Vault & Depository Care: Manage night depository operations, including secure bag logging, deposit verification, and issuing customer receipts.
Branch Administration: Support daily branch operations by answering phones, assisting clients with safe deposit boxes, sorting mail, and completing assigned tasks.

What We Are Looking For (Qualifications)

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience: 6 months of related customer service training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Core Skills: Proven, accurate cash-handling experience in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Aptitude: Strong computer literacy paired with robust mathematical and analytical skills.
Preferred: Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry is a plus.
