Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards and fosters childhood development.
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student engagement, exploration, and creativity.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful atmosphere for all students.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding each student’s day, progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Assess student performance through various methods and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Participate in education administration activities such as staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred and have a current teaching license.
- Proven experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and effective classroom management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
