The Client Service Coordinator (CSC) drives the flow of clients and pets through the hospital, maximizes the productivity of the veterinary medical team, ensures good communication with associates and clients, and coordinates the care of clients and pets in a happy, welcoming, friendly and efficient manner, influencing clients to return and refer their friends and families. Responsibilities include recruiting new clients by promoting hospital services, routing the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and maximum productivity, providing professional and exceptional service, educating clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and pet health needs, assisting incoming and outgoing clients with documentation, pet information, invoices, prescriptions, retail sales, and scheduling appointments, managing finances with accurate balances and proper procedures, and conducting administrative functions. The role requires leadership, customer focus, communication skills, client service skills, time management, multi-tasking, problem solving, organizational ability, and computer skills. The position involves working with pets, requires physical abilities such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to pets and occasional hazards. High school diploma or equivalent preferred, one year related experience required, medical background preferred. The job may require more than 40 hours per week including weekends and evenings.
