Join Our Team

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support our Parts and Warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving incoming materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, pulling and delivering parts for production, and packaging and shipping customer orders. This position plays a key role in ensuring materials and products move efficiently throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pull parts orders according to production schedules and deliver materials to the assembly area.
  • Receive, unload, inspect, and process incoming shipments.
  • Stock inventory and create storage locations for new parts and materials.
  • Package and crate products for shipment based on size, weight, and shipping requirements.
  • Review daily shipping schedules and coordinate outgoing shipments.
  • Verify bills of lading, shipping documentation, and shipment contents for accuracy.
  • Ensure adequate inventory of packaging materials and shipping supplies.
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers using material handling equipment.
  • Process receiving and shipping transactions using computer systems.
  • Distribute incoming materials to the appropriate departments.
  • Coordinate inspection and return processing for rejected materials and weldments.
  • Notify production personnel of incoming parts and fulfill production backorders.
  • Work closely with warehouse, production, and parts team members to ensure efficient material flow.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or distribution experience.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to access shipping instructions, inventory information, and customer order details.
  • Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Certified forklift operator or ability to obtain certification.
  • Experience with inventory control and warehouse management systems.
  • Manufacturing or industrial warehouse experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Perform work within a manufacturing facility approximately 85% of the time.
  • Perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions approximately 15% of the time.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday.
  • Ability to safely lift and move materials as required.
