Seeking Polished Dental Assistant

We are a progressive, independently owned, and high-end private prosthodontist practice built on excellence. Our fee-for-service, non-insurance model allows us to remain dedicated to providing exceptional care.  We have an opening for a full time dental assistant to join our practice.  We offer a team work atmosphere, monthly achievable bonuses, a four-day work week, matching 401K,  personal career development and competitive pay. We ask that only those with a minimum of 5 years experience in dental field apply.  We are an EOE.

Primary Job Duties Include:

  • Assist with Dental treatments as instructed
  • Follow office policies and systems
  • Take and record dental histories and patient records
  • Prepare instruments; clean treatment areas; sterilize equipment, manage supplies
  • Responsible for patient flow, keeping treatment rooms neat and organized 
  • Communicate with patients in a knowledgeable & caring manner 
  • Front Office Support, including greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling, maintaining files, as needed
  • Being Accountable and Reliable 
Ideal Candidate:

  • Have at least5 years experience as a dental assistant
  • A person that still has the desire to develop and excel as a dental assistant
  • Must be personable and like to work with people
  • Ability to project a positive, warm and professional image in person and on the phone
  • Strong Organizational skills – you see what needs to be done and do it.
  • Must be articulate and service-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task, take initiative and anticipate needs of others
  • Reliable, accountable and prompt; available for at least 35 hours per week
  • Works well in a team, with humor, enthusiasm and joyful consideration of others.
  • Does well under pressure and fast pace work environment
  • Experience with temporary fabrication, impression taken and has x-ray certification.
