The GFY team is seeking a Civil Project Engineer interested in joining an influential work environment. This position will primarily report to mid-level and senior engineers to assist with engineering and technical disciplines, including site design, roadway, utilities, stormwater, permitting, and construction observation. This role will assist with planning, preliminary and conceptual design, construction drawings, permitting, and preparation of engineering technical reports. This position will work alongside experts across all civil engineering disciplines, with mentorship playing a vital role in your professional development.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce plans, specifications, and required deliverables on assigned projects on time and within budget
  • Follow the supervisor's lead on procedures, calculations, regulatory requirements, and engineering practice

Experience and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position will be a Civil Engineer graduate. A Florida Engineer in Training License is preferred. Qualifications and abilities shall include the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Familiarity with the use of CADD tools, such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D
  • 0-2 years of experience in the civil engineering field
  • Open roadway design experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
