Overview
Supports one or more areas of dashboard development, reporting solutions, SQL, and analytics initiatives, including program coordination, requirements gathering, design analysis, and documentation of business needs to drive adoption and data-informed decision-making. Serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT to identify, communicate, and execute on reporting, data, and analytical requirements. Develops and maintains SQL queries and data solutions to ensure accurate, reliable, and actionable insights.

The omission of an essential function does not preclude management from assigning duties not listed herein if such functions are a logical assignment to the position.• Designs, develops, and maintains interactive dashboards and reporting solutions to support business operations, performance tracking, and strategic decision-making.• Develops and optimizes SQL queries to extract, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and performance.• Leads analytics and reporting initiatives by gathering business requirements, defining development specifications, managing enhancement requests, and overseeing delivery timelines.• Collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners to translate business objectives and information needs into scalable data models, dashboards, and analytical solutions.• Conducts comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analysis to uncover business insights, translates complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations, and partners with stakeholders to drive data-informed decisions and measurable outcomes.Facilitates meetings with key stakeholders to assess current reporting processes,identify gaps and inefficiencies, and recommend data-driven improvements andprocess optimizations.• Establishes and maintains best practices for dashboard design, data governance,documentation, and reporting standards to ensure quality, usability, andconsistency across analytics solutions.Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential dutyand responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of theknowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), DataAnalytics, or a related field from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years ofexperience in business intelligence, dashboard development, data analytics, SQLdevelopment, or reporting solutions; including requirements gathering, stakeholdercollaboration, and delivery of data-driven insights; or an equivalent combination ofeducation, certification, training, and/or experience. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS:Business Intelligence and data visualization certifications (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, orsimilar platforms) preferred. SQL, data analytics, or data management certifications are aplus. Project Management certifications (e.g., CAPM or PMP) and Business Analysiscertifications (e.g., CBAP) are desirable. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:• Ability to design, develop, and maintain advanced dashboards, reports, and datavisualizations that support operational and strategic decision-making.• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases to extract, transform, validate, andanalyze data from multiple sources.• Working knowledge of medallion architecture methodology, data modeling principles,reporting best practices, and data governance standards.• Ability to gather, document, and translate business requirements into scalablereporting and analytical solutions.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience applying statisticaltechniques (e.g., trend analysis, regression, hypothesis testing) to interpret complexdatasets and generate actionable business insights.Ability to communicate analytical findings and technical concepts clearly to nontechnicalstakeholders through presentations, dashboards, and written reports.• Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend data-drivensolutions.• Ability to work independently while building effective, collaborative relationships andinfluencing stakeholders across departments PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those anemployee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
