Job Summary

Responsible for entry-level engineering tasks related to the design, development, and testing of electronic and electrical systems and components for defense and aerospace applications. Works under direct supervision to support senior engineers on various projects.

Job Responsibilities

* Assist in the design and development of electronic circuits, components, and systems for defense and aerospace products.

* Conduct basic testing and debugging of electronic hardware, including circuit boards and prototypes.

* Perform calculations and simulations to verify design specifications and performance.

* Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports, under guidance.

* Support the integration of electrical systems into larger aerospace and defense platforms.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers.

* Participate in design reviews and provide input on technical aspects.

* Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues related to electronic and electrical systems.

* Adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

* Continuously learn and apply new technologies and engineering principles.

Job Qualifications

*AS degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.

* Familiarity with basic electronic components, circuits, and test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters).

* Understanding of fundamental electrical engineering principles.

* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, Eagle) is a plus.

* Basic knowledge of embedded systems and microcontrollers is desirable.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

* Must be a U.S. Citizen due to defense contract requirements.
