Job DetailsJob Location: Hilton Bayfront St. Pete - ST PETERSBURG, FL 33701Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $18.00 - $18.00 HourlyJob Shift: AnyOverview:  A Kolter Hospitality Housekeeping Supervisor delivers service excellence to our guests and ensures the creation of a larger than home, welcoming experience. This position is responsible for daily supervision of cleaning and assists in administration of Housekeeping services in safe and efficient manner. ______________________________________________________________________________ Performance Expectations: Supervise the housekeeping staff Prepare schedules for the staff and complete the work distribution report, ensuring all sections are covered. Break out the house and provide team with daily assignments Evaluate the staff’s job performance and coach and counsel as necessary. Train and supervise all new associates and provide on-going training for current staff. Clearly communicate the standards of performance and ensure all required training occurs. Perform and supervise the cleaning and inspection of guest rooms, public areas, and back of the house Ensure compliance with proper cleaning techniques, procedures, and brand standards. Check for early make-ups, special requests and VIPs. Order supplies and maintain accurate inventory. Follow proper lost and found procedures for items left behind in a guest room. Follow all safety procedures while working. Run a departure report and recheck all rooms showing up in your assigned section. Write up work orders for all repairs and immediately report any broken door locks or safety hazards to management for immediate attention by the Engineering team. Call in ready rooms to Housekeeping Department; enter room status in housekeeping computer. Report to work on time and in proper uniform. Experience: Previous experience overseeing/directing a team. Hotel experience a plus.
