Job Description Summary

Writes, debugs, executes and maintains the source code for software applications. Typically works under the direction of a Lead Developer. Job Description

This position follows our hybrid workstyle policy: Expected to be in a Raymond James office location a minimum of 10-12 days a month.

Responsibilities and Skills Needed

  • Build batch & streaming pipelines using Glue, Glue Streaming, Lambda, S3, Athena, Iceberg

  • Enable CDC ingestion with Kafka topics and JDBC connectors

  • Optimize Iceberg tables and Athena queries for performance

  • Drive CI/CD automation with Azure DevOps

  • Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Governance teams

  • Apply domain expertise in Market Risk and XVA processing to ensure accurate and timely risk calculations

  • Work with relational databases like Oracle and MSSQL for upstream and downstream integration

  • Nice-to-have: Experience with AWS SageMaker, Bedrock, and Redshift for advanced analytics and AI-driven insights

Education

Bachelor’s: Computer and Information Science (Required), Bachelor’s: Computer Engineering, Bachelor’s: Data Science
