How Will You Make An Impact?
Monitor the quality and efficiency performance for assigned manufacturing line(s). Drive continuous improvement through process development, root cause analysis and systematic problem solving; utilize data from CIQ, TARS and other sources as appropriate.
Location:
This role will be based on-site at our JDAS Aerospace & Defense manufacturing facility in St. Petersburg, FL.
What Will You Do?
路聽Continually strive to balance and optimize line throughput, including efforts to minimize changeover downtime (i.e. common set-ups).
路 Monitor machine management data in order to maximize utilization and minimize machine-generated scrap.
路聽Provide input on creative ways to reduce costs by streamlining processes and systems.
路聽Create and maintain coating, staking and underfill equipment and programs
路聽Ensure that process parameters are within acceptable tolerances for products and components, and result in solder quality that meets IPC-610B requirements (or other applicable standard).
路聽Design and / or procure production tooling, and product-specific fixtures and jigs. This role is not limited to but will lean more to the coating, staking and underfill process of PCB manufacturing.
路聽Coordinate line reconfigurations and machine move activities, including equipment arrival, positioning and installation, and scheduling of support groups (Machine Support, Facilities, MIS, etc.) using the approved communication process.
路聽Verify that machine maintenance is performed as scheduled on assigned line(s).
路聽Encourage open communication and exchange of information within the M.E. department and between the various support groups.
路聽Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
路 Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
How Will You Get Here?
Education:
路 Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Engineering discipline or a related field preferred.
Experience:
路 2-5+ years of related manufacturing engineering experience.
路 Aerospace and defense (or similar industry) experience is a nice plus.
路 Or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.
