Geosonics, Inc., a seismic consulting company, is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team at our St. Petersburg, Florida location.

As the Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating and refurbishing surface mount components and environmental monitors.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Provide technical support, troubleshoot, calibrate and repair monitoring equipment
  • Create job orders for monitoring equipment, shipping documentation and processing
  • Create hardware schematics and diagrams for equipment installations
  • Provide personnel and client support on usage and troubleshooting of equipment
  • Provide general support for manufacturing elements of the office

Your Background and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or related office experience
  • Associate’s degree in Electronics or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years experience in manufacturing environment
  • Strong experience with electronic test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters or signal generators
  • General knowledge of analog, digital circuits and calibration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized and dedicated to quality
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while working independently or in collaboration with others
  • Take direction well and show initiative
