Commercial Electrician Foreman

Job description:

Pay Range: $25 – $35 per hour (Based on Experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

The Commercial Foreman is responsible for leading and overseeing commercial electrical projects from start to finish. This role ensures that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and company standards. The Foreman serves as the primary on-site leader, coordinating crews, managing workflow, and maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead electrical crews on commercial job sites
• Plan, coordinate, and execute daily work activities to meet project timelines
• Install, maintain, and oversee commercial electrical systems in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company safety policies
• Communicate effectively with project managers, general contractors, and team members
• Monitor job progress, identify issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track
• Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and job progress
• Train, mentor, and develop crew members
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and company vehicles

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial electrical installations
• Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and code requirements
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Strong communication and team management abilities

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
