We are seeking a dedicated and clinically driven Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring safe, effective, and high-quality medication management across the organization while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary care teams to support exceptional patient outcomes.
What Youāll Do
As a Pharmacist at Salem Hospital, you will:
⢠Oversee the procurement, distribution, and control of medications throughout the hospital
⢠Evaluate and provide comprehensive drug information to providers, staff, and patients
⢠Monitor medication therapies to promote safe and effective drug use
⢠Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
⢠Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and pharmacy students
⢠Contribute to departmental initiatives, workflow improvements, and quality assurance efforts
⢠Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and best practices in pharmacy care
What Weāre Looking For
⢠Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy required
⢠Current Massachusetts Pharmacist license required
⢠Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical pharmacy environment preferred
⢠New graduates considered with at least 2 years of clinical experience as a pharmacy intern
⢠Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
⢠Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical setting
⢠Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both clinical and non-clinical staff
⢠Proficiency with computer applications and pharmacy systems
⢠High attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
