JOB SUMMARY

The Laboratory Digital Systems Analyst is responsible for configuring and maintaining LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) master data, verifying data accuracy, and ensuring data integrity across laboratory instrument computerized systems. This role plays a critical part in supporting accurate, compliant, and efficient digital operations within BA Sciences. The Analyst translates client methods, protocols, and lab operational requests into structured, validated system configurations. This includes building and verifying LIMS data objects, supporting digital workflows, and ensuring alignment with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Configure, maintain, and verify LIMS master data, including test methods, protocols, EM workflows, product specifications, and related objects.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of master data through systematic reviews and validation activities
• Translate client methods, protocols, and business requirements into compliant system configuration
• Perform routine data validation checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures.
• Assist in maintaining documentation related to laboratory systems, including procedures, job aids, and training materials.
• Follow established procedures to help maintain data integrity, security, and compliance within laboratory systems.
• Assist IT and laboratory teams with system updates, testing activities, and documentation as needed.
• Support the organization’s Data Integrity program by supporting reviews to identify potential compliance gaps and following established procedures to maintain regulatory and corporate compliance.


REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, chemistry, Information Systems, or a related scientific/technical field.
•Experience with LIMS platforms and hands-on experience with scientific software, and computerized system administration laboratory instrument software systems.
•Strong understanding of laboratory processes, analytical methods, and data workflows.
•Experience configuring master data or digital lab systems in a regulated or quality-focused environment.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory monitoring systems, scientific software, and computerized system administration.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 requirements, GxP environments, and data integrity principles.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and increased scope of work driven by organizational growth.
