We’re seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead a high-performing team delivering community-based services in the Salem, Virginia area. This leadership role is ideal for an RN who thrives on improving quality of care, supporting staff, and shaping home-based healthcare services.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the community-based services team, ensuring safe, high-quality care for participants.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and supervision to nurses, aides, and support staff - including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Monitor compliance with regulations and internal policies, while maintaining positive staff morale and a collaborative work culture.
- Conduct initial and annual assessments of participants to identify needs and coordinate individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
- Current RN license in good standing (BSN strongly preferred).
- 2+ years of healthcare experience in a clinical setting.
- Proven leadership experience supervising staff and managing schedules, budgets, and quality metrics.
- BLS and First Aid certifications (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance as required by law.
