Full Time | Commercial Cleaning Operations

Location: Roanoke, VA
Schedule: Full Time (Flexible shifts) 40 hours per week.
Pay: Salary position $33,280

About the Role:

We are looking for a dependable and flexible Operations Support Technician to join our growing commercial cleaning team. This role is critical to keeping our operations running smoothly across multiple client facilities.

The Operations Support Technician helps ensure every building receives consistent service by assisting with shift coverage, delivering supplies, preparing cleaning materials, and supporting the operations team with special projects.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and takes pride in maintaining high cleaning standards.
Responsibilities

Cleaning Coverage

Provide coverage for cleaning shifts when staff are out or additional support is needed
Perform janitorial tasks such as restroom cleaning, trash removal, dusting, and floor care
Ensure facilities are properly secured after service

Operational Support

Deliver cleaning supplies and equipment to client facilities
Restock janitor closets and maintain organized supply areas
Assist managers with operational needs across multiple accounts

Cleaning Material Preparation

Collect and wash microfiber cloths, mop heads, and cleaning materials
Sort and redistribute cleaned materials to facilities
Maintain supply levels for reusable cleaning materials

Facility Support

Assist with deep cleaning and special projects
Help stabilize service at accounts when needed
Assist with new account setups when required
Schedule

This is a full time flexible position designed to support operational needs.

Typical shift windows include:
Day Shift
6:00 AM to 3:00 PM/ 7:00AM to 4:00PM/ 8:00am to 5:00PM

Evening Shift
2:00 PM to 11:00 PM/ 1:00pm to 9:00pm
Schedules may vary depending on operational coverage needs

Qualifications

Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
Reliable transportation
Ability to work flexible hours when coverage is needed
Strong attention to detail
Dependable and able to work independently
Comfortable performing physical cleaning tasks
