Program Manager - LIMS
Onsite Work - Hillsboro, Oregon

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to support the implementation of a new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The Program Manager will support the Senior Project Manager and focus on organizational change management, internal and external communications, team coordination, maintaining the decision log, vendor coordination, and User Acceptance Testing.

Responsibilities
  • Project manage multiple complex and detailed project schedules.
  • Maintain project timelines, milestones, and critical paths.
  • Monitor and control projects to assure timely completion.
  • Advise on and escalate key risks and issues that impact the projects.
  • Collaborate with managers to ensure resources are allocated to appropriate project tasks.
  • Respond to requests for information from the LIMS vendor or members of the project team.
  • Support organizational change management and User Acceptance.
  • Coordinate and project manage the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) effort for the LIMS Replacement Project.
  • Prepare biweekly project status reports.
  • Develop resource capacity reports to identify over-allocated and under-utilized resources.
  • Support project planning, scheduling, and related project deliverables.
  • Perform other related IT Project Management duties, as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Prior state government experience
  • Strong Project Management experience
  • Office 365
  • Exceptional communication skills
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Organizational Change Management experience in a Laboratory or Clinical Care setting
  • Project Management experience in a Laboratory or Clinical Care setting
  • Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
  • Experience with PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in business or a related field
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
