Position Summary
Abel Electric Inc & Groups is seeking an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations supporting our residential, commercial, and service divisions. This leadership role is responsible for inventory management, material control, warehouse organization, logistics coordination, and team supervision to ensure materials and equipment are accurately tracked, properly staged, and delivered efficiently to support field operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience managing warehouse personnel, and a proven ability to improve operational efficiency, accountability, and inventory accuracy within a fast-paced construction or electrical environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Manager
- Experience in the electrical, construction, or skilled trades industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and material management
- Experience supervising warehouse personnel and coordinating workflow
- Ability to implement and maintain organized inventory systems
- Familiarity with barcode scanning, digital inventory systems, and material tracking software preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems
- Forklift experience/certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Pass preemployment drug test
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily warehouse operations and warehouse staff
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and material accountability
- Develop and enforce warehouse organization standards and procedures
- Coordinate material staging, deliveries, and job-site logistics
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with purchasing/replenishment needs
- Conduct cycle counts and assists with inventory audits
- Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are properly tracked and maintained
- Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to support project needs
- Improve warehouse efficiency, workflow, and operational processes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Enforce company safety standards and warehouse compliance procedures
- Assist with fleet/tool accountability and warehouse security procedures
