Now hiring a Truck Shop Manager for an employee-owned company. We are currently seeking candidates for both spray and utility operations. We conduct a variety of operations ranging from forestry spraying to Firefighting/Charters. Ideal candidates should be career minded experienced CDL Class B drivers who are willing to work in a field environment supporting company aircraft. MUST be willing and able to travel throughout the lower 48.

Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Maintain a fleet of 60+ Wheeled vehicles to include Mack trucks with tanks pickup trucks, box trucks and trailers.
Plan coordinate and schedule work in house and external to the company.
Perform and oversee routine service and repairs on the vehicles.
Order parts and tools as needed.
Being on call to assist field crews in unscheduled maintenance through coordinating repairs or repair facilities, delivering replacement vehicles or answering technical questions.
Help maintain a safe and clean work area.
Maintain and calibrate shop tools as needed

Pay: $60,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year

Monday to Friday
On call
Weekends as needed
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Salem, VA

Required skills/Abilities:

Class A CDL with tanker endorsement, hazmat also preferred.
Must be 21 years old
Must be able to exercise good judgement in a team environment as well as in aircraft operation and safety.
Must have problem solving and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Must be willing to work in an environment that is subject to changing climate conditions and moderate noise levels and move items of 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
Active, valid Driver’s License required.
High school diploma, or GED required.
Must be able to pass pre-employment background/drug and alcohol test prior to start. Will be enrolled in our random drug pool.
