Reporting to the Blending Process Supervisor, the Blender Operator performs blending and repackaging of a powdered polymer, ensuring adherence to all required written procedures to ensure product is processed free of contamination.
 Responsibilities
- Perform blending and repackaging of a powdered polymer.
- Report equipment malfunctions to Maintenance and to assist with repairs and routine maintenance.
- Follow GMP’s for good documentation practices, record keeping and personnel hygiene.
- Immediately reports any issues relating to production to their direct Supervisor.
- Has the ability to complete work according to the issued production schedule.
- Has the ability to wear a respirator and obtain successful respirator fit testing upon hiring and annually.
- Operation of a forklift
- Must be familiar with and follow all applicable safety and regulatory requirements. · Must wear required PPE including lab coat, hair net, gloves, etc.
- Assists with other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
 Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
- Must be willing to work established shifts.Â
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers,
- fractions and decimals.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending and lifting motions over a period of time.
- Must have forklift driving experience.
- Computer skills desired.
 Special Requirements
- Must successfully complete Blender Operator certification within the first 12 months of employment.
- Must be certified by physical examination to wear a respirator.
 Pay & Benefits
Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour.
