- Night Shift - Monday - Friday, 4:00PM - 12:30AM $21
Summary:Â The Powered Industrial Truck Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of assigned electric powered material handling equipment including but not limited to: Sit Down Forklift, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Pallet Jack, Pallet Stacker and Pallet Jack to support all facets of a high-volume distribution center. Â
Essential Functions:Â
- Follow all safety rules to maintain personal safety and the safety of others including maintaining clean work areas.Â
- Operates electric powered sit-down electric forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks and pallet jacks in compliance with all OSHA regulations.Â
- Load, unload, retrieve, stack and store products in a neat, safe and productive manner.Â
- Transport product or supplies to designated areas to support operational needs.Â
- Use pallet wrapping machinery, floor scales, RF equipment, automated dock equipment and company issued utility knife. Â
- Perform Forklift Operator Daily Checklists on assigned equipment.Â
- Communicate and report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to a supervisor immediately.Â
- Perform general housekeeping duties as needed. Â
- Communicates effectively with internal and external customers to effectively support operations.Â
- Ability to work daily overtime including weekends. Â
- Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately.Â
Qualifications:Â
- Minimum one year of experience in the safe and competent operation of powered industrial truck(s) in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Â
- Must be able to pass the ReaderLink Powered Industrial Truck Safety & Certification training course to obtain license valid for three years. Â Â
- Basic computer skills with WMS, RF and scanning experience.Â

- Must be able to stand and walk up 8 to 10 hours a day.Â
- Must be able repetitively reach up and out.Â
- Will frequently lift up to 50 Lbs. and occasionally lift up to 75 Lbs.Â
- Must be able to work at heights up to 20 ft.Â
- Must be able to perform repetitive foot movement.Â
