We are looking for a day shift and night shift. A night shift differential will apply.

The Welder will:

Arc weld metal components (primarily mild steel) in adherence to AWS D1.1.
Routinely produce multi-pass groove and fillet welds up to and including the 3G position (flat, horizontal, and vertical)
Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications.
Inspect finished work for conformance to all specifications.
Make weld repairs to damaged or non-conforming parts including surface build-up or plug welding.
Engage in other work required for welding processes including oxy-fuel burning, arc gouging, finish grinding, flame straightening, etc.
Operate hoists or cranes to move and position parts.
Work at heights as needed.
Comply with all Butech Bliss safety rules.
Perform other related duties assigned by supervision.

Strong candidates for this position will meet the following expectations:

Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in flux core arc welding with the ability to weld 1/16” – 3/32” diameter wires.
Prior experience producing weldments that require multi-pass fillet and/or groove welds.
Successful completion of a hands-on weld test is required.
Ability to frequently lift up to 75 pounds.
Must be able to frequently sit, stand, walk, crouch, bend, reach, push and pull.
Applicants must be willing to work overtime when available, including Saturday.
