Service Center Supervisor Duties:Â

A Service Center Supervisor assists with coordination branch/department operations, performs the day-to-day functions of their team members, and may participate in their team members’ employment cycleÂ
Service Center Supervisor Duties include but are not limited to:Â
- Interviews, hires, and trains new team members
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department/branch
- Liaises with patients, referral sources, and other team members to coordinate patient careÂ
- Maintains strong working knowledge of, and aids team members in a variety of areas including, insurance coverage criteria and products and services offered by the organizationÂ
- Attends in-services and meetings; assists with meeting managementÂ
- Resolves customer complaints, reports necessary complaints to leadershipÂ
- Enforces team adherence to company policies and procedures. Ensures team members are familiar with infection control, environment safety, emergency protocols, etc.Â
- Communicates regularly and effectively with team membersÂ
- Motivates team members to achieve individual and group goalsÂ
- Participates in team member evaluations, career pathing and development, disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and terminationsÂ
- Provides feedback to leaders to help improve business practices; assists in creating ways to deliver excellent customer service or create a better patient care environmentÂ
- Interviews, hires, and onboards new team members. Oversees new and existing team member training.Â
- Performs and oversees referral and customer service operations such as order intake, customer service, insurance verification, documentation verification, prior d. Works with leadership, Sales team, and Procurement to monitor trends and ensure equipment availabilityÂ
- Oversees equipment service in compliance with manufacturer suggested guidelinesÂ
- Ensures inventory traceability and equipment manual availability (physical or electronic)Â
- Maintains warehouse logs and filesÂ
- Develops and ensures compliance with safety, cleanliness, and maintenance schedules of the facilityÂ
- Monitors the appropriate disposal or equipment and suppliesÂ

Education & Experience:Â
• High school diploma or equivalentÂ
• 3+ years related experience in an office environmentÂ
• 1+ year related customer service experienceÂ
• 1+ year related experience with warehouse managementÂ
• Medicare and third-party reimbursement requirement experience preferredÂ
• Prior Leadership experience with a proven track recordÂ
Qualifications Physical:Â
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerÂ
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other computer componentsÂ
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times
• Must be clean and neat in personal appearance
