At JRI’s Kansas Wesleyan University operations, we’ve created a great place to eat and to work. You’ll be part of a team delivering freshly prepared, made-to-order menu items for our guests coupled with a unique mix of fun, great food, and exceptional hospitality. 

As a Dishwasher, your primary responsibilities are receiving, cleaning, and restocking dining dishes, kitchen wares, and utensils. Ensuring the cleanliness of the Dish Room area and the equipment within and surrounding it is essential to maintain hygienic standards. Additionally, you will contribute to maintaining cleanliness in other areas of the kitchen and assisting with general kitchen upkeep. Collaborating with other kitchen employees, you'll remove waste from appropriate receptacles to uphold sanitation practices. There may be occasions where you'll be asked to work in other areas of food service on campus to support various dining needs. Founded in 2011, JRI Hospitality owns and operates over 80 restaurants in 11 states, including management of the food service operations at KWU. JRI continues to open stores across the country and is working on opening additional stores in Texas, Georgia, Arizona, and Kansas in the upcoming years.

Requirements

Must be 16 years or older. Successful dishwashers consistently demonstrate exceptional hospitality and guest service, dependability, attention to detail, initiative, and teamwork.
