We are seeking a Cashier with a passion for hospitality to join our team at Salinas City BBQ! The Cashier is responsible for ensuring that company standards are being met in the customer facing areas of our restaurant. The Cashier will provide friendly and responsive service to create an exceptional experience for all guests.

Our employees average $7.00 per hour in tips. With a starting hourly rate of $16.90 per hour, that's a total of $23.90 average per hour for a job you can enjoy!

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests that enter the restaurant
• Answer questions about food, beverages, and other restaurant services
• Take food and beverage orders at the counter
• Accept payment and provide accurate change to customers
• Enter orders into our point-of-sale system
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
• Provide excellent customer service
• Perform side work at each shift as required
• Ensure total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
• Ensure a balance of the register at the end of the shift or working period
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned
