Janitor

As a Janitor, you'll be responsible for ensuring our center remains clean and orderly. This role involves both heavy and light cleaning duties, operating motor-driven and electrical equipment, and performing various facilities-related tasks to support CAPSLO's mission. Your work will help create a comfortable and safe environment, ensuring we comply with regulations and maintain high standards.

What you bring to the table:

• Minimum of six months of experience in a related role.
• Dependable, insured transportation and a valid California Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.

As a Janitor you will:

• Maintain the cleanliness of both the interior and exterior of center buildings.
• Clean and maintain equipment and tools used on the job.
• Purchase, inventory, and organize cleaning supplies.
• Keep the supply room neat and organized.
• Clean all surfaces, wash windows, sweep, vacuum, mop, wax floors, shampoo rugs, empty trash, sanitize toilets and sinks, change light bulbs, and paint as needed.
• Pick up and dispose of trash and debris.

• Follow all applicable safety rules and practices to ensure the safety of yourself, colleagues, clients, and children.
