Emerald Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Documentation Specialist to join its Saline Team! This role plays a key part in assisting in the maintenance of customer and internal manufacturing documents by creating and maintaining part numbers, AVL, Bill of Materials and engineering changes. Data entry skills and excellent typing skills are required.Â
 RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be able to perform a variety of tasks and will work under general supervision. Specific duties to include but are not limited to the following:Â
- BOM creation and maintenanceÂ
- Part number creation and AVL maintenanceÂ
- Electronic and hard copy document managementÂ
- Creation/Maintenance of Assembly/Boxbuild DocumentationÂ
- High School Diploma or equivalentÂ
- Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing environmentÂ
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret a variety of engineering documents such as specifications, component data sheets, assembly drawings, ECO’s and PCR’sÂ
- Familiar with electronic componentsÂ
- Familiar with manufacturing documentation processes including BOM’s, AVL, Part numbering and MRP systemsÂ
- Familiar with computer aided manufacturing software such as CircuitCam is a plusÂ
- Strong Communication Skills – including the ability to interact with engineering and other operations departmentsÂ
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentÂ
